Chairman Message

Since the early start of new millennium Pakistan especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and FATA, has been confronting with a multitude of upheavals. The region has to contend with extra-ordinary happenings like insurgencies, militarization, flooding, economic crises and worsening law and order situation.

In the wake of all these challenges the AHO Management and Field staff girdled themselves to serve the suffering communities of the region. During and after the Earthquake of 2005, Swat IDPs and the subsequent floods of 2010 AHO provided exemplary services to the affected communities. Not only in rescue but also in rehabilitation phases AHO rendered unprecedented services to the humanity.

Chairman AHO in a meeting with Sikh Community of Lower Orakzai Agency

Chairman, AHO presiding an official meeting with Sikh Community of Tribal Areas, FATA.  The delegation discussed the problems faced by them as minorities during and after the military operation in Orakzai Agency.Chairman Asia Humanitarian Organization meeting with Sikh Community of Lower Orakzai Agency. A project of construction of 59 shelter, 59 Latrines for Sikh Families and 40 Hand pumps and 659 NFI kits was implemented  by AHO with the financial assistance of CONCERN Worldwide Rapid-Fund at Lower Orakzai Agency  FATA in 2011.

Hundreds of homes were destroyed in FATA , especially Orakzai Agency during the military operations. AHO conducted a survey to initiate a shelter project for the Sikh Community in Lower Orakzai Agency. As result, AHO implemented a project wherein shelters were constructed for 59 Sikh Families funded by CONCERN Worldwide Rapid-Fund. WASH facilities were also provided to those Sikh Communities and Muslim Communities of Lower Orakzai Agency, whose homes were totally or partially damaged during the military operation.

The philosophy behind the establishment of AHO was the dire need to focus on community development in different sectors of the region.   

The present world is facing social, economic and cultural problems which need to be addressed to make our world safe healthy and prosperous. The need of the hour is to reach every nook and corner of the world at large and the region in particular for helping the needy marginalized and poverty ridden communities
